Alison Bell (year abroad)
My name is Alison Bell and I’m studying French and Spanish. I’m from
Ashford in Kent and I started studying here in 2007.
I love travelling and I’m fascinated by other cultures. Before I came here
I took a gap year during which I worked in Switzerland as a waitress for
three months and then spent four months volunteering and travelling in
Mexico, which was an amazing experience. In my free time I love playing the
piano, running, spending time with friends and learning salsa.
I have enjoyed all aspects of the peer support training and I think that it
provides an invaluable opportunity to chat about any kind of anxiety. I
will be more than happy to listen to any problem, big or small; don’t
hesitate to get in touch.
